Tabletops have varied wall thickness (2.5–5mm) and broad surface area. We run MoldFlow simulation to select optimal gate location (fan gate / edge gate / hot-tip), predict weld lines on visible surfaces (esp. textured tops), and verify pack/hold to prevent sink marks on rib junctions.
Large cores (underside of tabletop) retain heat. We design multi-loop baffled water lines in both core & cavity; BeCu (Beryllium Copper) inserts are placed at deep ribs or central boss to accelerate heat extraction—typical cycle time 45–70s depending on size.
For outdoor tables, we provide interchangeable umbrella hole bush insert (Ø38/50mm standard) with precise fit—can be omitted for indoor versions using the same base mold, saving tooling cost.
Cavity can be mirror polished (SPI A1–A3) for modern gloss tops, or chemically textured (VDI 3400 / wood grain / rattan / sandstone) for premium patio appeal. Hard chrome plating optional for wear resistance.
For tables with thick perimeter beams or hollow legs, we offer Gas-Assisted Injection Molding (GAIM) design—reducing material usage, sink marks, and internal stress while improving stiffness.
