PP (Polypropylene): Highly flexible and durable. A 2.6g PP knife, for example, is light yet strong and won't easily break during use. Shrinkage rate: 1.7%.
PS (Polystyrene): A cost-effective, stiff material perfect for standard disposable cutlery. It is more brittle than PP. Shrinkage rate: 1.05%.
PLA (Polylactic Acid): The eco-friendly, biodegradable alternative. While great for the environment, it requires careful Moulding due to lower heat resistance and higher brittleness.

Mould Base: Reinforced with S50C steel or standard LKM bases to withstand the rigorous demands of high-speed production.

Semi-Hot Runner (Recommended): Featuring a 1-tip pinpoint gate with small circular distributive gates. This system offers an economical balance, minimizing material waste while ensuring smooth filling and easy automation.
Full Hot Runner: Ideal for maximum output. By eliminating the cold runner entirely, you save 100% on raw material waste and significantly reduce cycle times.
Cold Runner: A budget-friendly option for lower-volume productions or manual cutting operations.
4. Strategic Cooling & Ultra-Short Cycle Times
The secret to high-volume profitability is an optimized cycle time. If a knife or fork is ejected before it is properly cooled, it will bend or warp. Our engineers design strategic cooling channel layouts—often utilizing thermal analysis software—to ensure:
