What Is a Garden Flow Pot Mould?


A Garden Flow Pot Mould is a complex injection mold designed to produce non-geometric, free-form plastic planters. The defining characteristics are:

Irregular / Asymmetrical Shape — The pot does not have a constant cross-section. It may have bulging curves, inward dents, or flowing lines that mimic nature.

Complex Undercuts — Deep concave areas prevent straight ejection. Requires 3 or more sliding cores (sometimes hydraulic) to withdraw the mold steel from negative drafts.

Variable Wall Thickness — Walls may vary from 2mm to 6mm in different sections. This demands expert cooling design to prevent sink marks on the visible "flowing" surfaces.
