Q: Is this lid mold different from the desk bin lid mold you also make?

A: Yes — completely different. The 5L rattan lid has outer-face VDI rattan/woven texture (EDMed + acid etch), is molded in PP with a mini-lifter for snap-undercut, and is designed to match a textured 5L round rattan bin body. Desk bin lids are smooth (SPI polish), often PS/ABS, multi-cavity, no texture, possibly with integral hinge — different mold structure entirely.

Q: Do you need the bin body drawing to quote the lid mold?

A: Strongly recommended — we need the bin-body top-rim Ø, wall thickness, and snap-groove location (or send the bin-body 3D) to verify lid seating clearance (0.2–0.4mm) and snap-fit engagement before cutting steel.

Q: Single cavity or 2-cavity?
