Q: What exactly is the "middle frame" vs. the lid or body?

A: The middle frame (intermediate ring / pressure ring) sits between the bin body and the lid. It houses the spring/torsion bar channel, pivot axle holes for the lid, and snap-fit clips to lock onto the bin body rim. The lid swings or presses on this frame — the frame itself does NOT replace the lid.

Q: Do you need the bin body & lid drawings to quote the middle frame mold?

A: Strongly recommended — we need to check assembly clearance (pivot boss engagement depth, clip snap-fit to body rim Ø, lid swing arc vs. frame opening) and verify pivot hole position. If you only have the frame drawing we can still quote, but assembly-fit cannot be pre-verified.

Q: Single cavity or 1+1 L+R?

A: Most middle frames are 1×1 single cavity. If the frame is perfectly symmetric L/R (identical part used on both sides of a dual-bin unit — rare for single-bin) we can do 1+1. Plain decorative rings sometimes 2-cavity. We'll advise per your part geometry.

Q: What surface finish — any rattan texture?

A: No — middle frames are SPI B1 (satin) standard, SPI A2 optional for clear PS decorative ring. Rattan/VDI texture is NOT applied unless you specifically request a decorative outer-ring version.

Q: What do you need for a quotation?
