In high-volume logistics, automated warehousing, and export shipping, Double Face Plastic Pallets  are the gold standard. Unlike single-face pallets, a double-face pallet has both a top deck and a bottom deck, allowing reversible use—flip it and use either side. When engineered with reinforced ribs and adequate thickness, double-face pallets can be rackable ( up to 1,500–1,800 kg on selective racks), making them ideal for food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, and automotive supply chains.

Double face pallet molds are among the largest injection tools (mold weight 12–20+ tons). We specify:

Mold Base: Reinforced S50C / P20 pre-hardened base with extra support pillars to prevent core/cavity bowing under pack pressure.

Cavity / Core Inserts: 718H (1.2738, HRC 33–38) standard; H13 (1.2344, quenched & tempered HRC 44–48) for high-volume or recycled-HDPE runs; optional S136 for mirror-polish zones.

Heat Treatment & Hardness: Main cores/cavities treated to HRC 28–32 (P20) or HRC 33–38 (718H); wear parts like slides & ejector sleeves nitrided for extended service life of 500,000–1,000,000+ shots.

② Balanced Multi-Point Hot Runner System

Large double-deck pallets require 12 to 20+ drops (valve gate or open hot runner) distributed across top & bottom decks:

Ensures simultaneous fill of thick block areas and thin deck ribs

Minimizes weld lines at load-bearing zones

Eliminates cold sprue → shorter cycle & no regrind loss

Compatible with YUDO / Synventive / Anole manifolds

③ Advanced Cooling – BeCu Inserts & Zoned Circuits

Thick rib intersections at deck-block junctions are heat traps. Our cooling strategy:

Deep-drilled baffles & bubblers in each of the 9 support blocks

Beryllium Copper (BeCu / Mold-Max) inserts at deck-rib crossings and center hub for 20–30% faster heat extraction

Independent zoned water circuits with flow regulators → uniform temperature → minimal warpage

Typical cycle time: 80–130 seconds (depends on pallet weight & thickness)

④ Dual-Deck Demolding System

Both top and bottom decks have undercuts/rib networks:

Hydraulic cylinders + angle lifters / cam slides for block sidewalls

Stripper plate / large ejector block with extra-long guide pillars supporting full ejection stroke
